Mein Deutsche ist nicht so gut, so schreibe ich auf English, aber du darfts in deutsch schreiben wenn du hilfen kannst..?

The laptop does not boot, (see "Brauched meinen D7830 einen nues mobo")

I have discovered that the CPU gets hot depending on which side the laptop lies,,,,very strange,,,,could be a loose screw, mir denks.

I have removed the base plastics and now need advice on how to remove the metal base plate on my D7830....

Thanks

I have found that the metal base plate is held simply by the the dvd rom,
Carefully wiggle and pull the dvd drive from the bay and you will see a screw,#
remove the screw and the metal plate comes away from the base assembly with no problem,
so see you back at the "Brauched meinen D7830 einen nues mobo?" forum.

chuss
