Usually no PC is permanently bricked by a unsuccesfull BIOS-"brick"date, specially when there is life on board. First reset the C-MOS to default values by dismounting (or shortening) the C-MOS batery. It often helps - if not, try a BIOS restore. A how-to will be found in the internet. In German it is not any problem, I can give a link.
A BIOS-restore is depending on the manufacturer of the BIOS, i. e. Phoenix, Phenix-Award (the former Award), AMI or Insyde. Any questions may be posted here.
If nothing helps the BIOS can be restored by hardware repair, either exchanging the BIOS ROM to a new programmed one or reprogramming it. In case of soldered ROM an exchange isn't really simple because the old chip hast to be desoldered, the new one has to be soldered. Only well experienced in soldering SMD and with the right tools are able to do this work. You may ask me...
