try the following, it seems like it helps sometimes..
disconnect the amilo from the power-network,
remove the power-cell of the device for 30seconds,
push the power button a few times, and then insert the power-cell again.
if this wont help, return the amilo immdiately! dont call the customer support, it voids the warrenty between you and your retailer i.e. you cant return your amilo anymore. atleast thats how it goes down in germany..
