Hallo

habe den Amilo Pro V2030
und nun Kubuntu installiert.
Es soll WLan im Amilo eingebaut sein.

Frage:
1) Wo finde ich die Karte, bzw. wo taucht sie auf?
2) Wie kann ich eine WLan Verbindung zu meiner Wlan Fritz-Box aufbauen?

(Ich weiß nicht ob der Ralink wirklich etwas mit dem Broadcom zu tun hat.)

EDIT:
Falls es für die Broadcom keinen Treiber gibt, kann man es mit ndiswrapper versuchen.

Hey, danke fürs Formatieren ;-)

Den Thread hab ich durch - hilft mir leider nicht,

Googlen ergab, daß es offenbar wohl keinen Treiber für die Karte gibt, zumindest bin ich auch auf anderen Foren insoweit fündig geworden, als das dort das gleiche Problem diskutiert wird. Zumal Fujitsu-Siemens selbst nur Windows XP als "Operating System" angibt:

Auch in den anderen Foren war der Tip meist wie von aspettl: den "WindowsTreiber" ndiswrapper zu probieren.

:!: Ich habe dann eine Website gefunden, wo eine Config für einen Amilo Laptop mit eben diesem Treiber dokumentiert ist:

Ich werde dies wohl ausprobieren und das Ergebnis hier posten.

Frage
Welches Paket muss ich installieren, um ndiswrapper zu bekommen?
Ich frage deshalb, weil ich auf meinem Kubuntu 5.10 nur die folgenden Pakete finde:
ndisgtk
ndiswrapper-source
ndiswrapper-utils

So. hab mal probiert den Win-Treiber mit ndiswrapper zu nutzen.

Hier mein Verlauf:


ndiswrapper mit Adept installieren (ode mittels apt-get install):

Windows-Treiber heruntergeladen:

ups! :shock:

Nach Neustart und "sudo modprobe ndiswrapper" habe ich mal die KWiFi Verwaltung gestartet - und siehe da: Verbindung zum Router!
Allerdings kann ich nicht via WLan surfen. Geht nur via Lan...

Das zeigt mir nun

Hm. In der Hilfe habe ich gelesen, daß der Access Pont doch eine MAC-Adresse sein muss. Hier wird mir aber 00:00.... angezeigt. Wie kann ich das einstellen?

Hab mein WLan ans laufen bekommen ;-))

Habe mich dabei an das HowTo gehalten:

Das einzige Problem, was ich noch habe, ist
das sich mein LAN und mein WLAN mit dhcp nicht vertragen.

Wenn ich in der Datei "/etc/network/interfaces" für mein WLAN eine feste IP vergebe und gleichzeitig fürs LAN dhcp, dann komme ich nicht via WLAN ins Internet. Wenn ich aber mein LAN (eth0) auskommentiere und für WLAN (wlan0) ein dhcp wähle, dann klappt die Verbindung tadellos.

Wahrscheinlich fehlen dir Gateway und DNS, wenn du die feste IP einträgst. Ohne die geht das Internet nicht.

Hmm, bei GNOME gibt es einen Eintrag für die Nezwerke, die das primäre Gerät für das Gateway angibt. Weiß jetzt nicht genau, welche Configs dabei eingestellt werden; aber wenn KDE diese Optionen ebenfalls hat, darf man gerne doch mal auch graphische Tools benutzen - finde ich zumindest ^^

hallo,

bin ähnlich weit wie ihr habe ein amilo v2030 und ubuntu habe mit ndiswrapper den windowstreiber umgewandelt und habe auch das wlan0 interface. bekomme aber partout keine verbindung zu meinem router obwohl er den beim scannen findet... habs auch schon ohne verschlüsselung
versucht.... keine chance :(
