Amilo M7440G LAN driver problem

Beitragvon urmas » 04.02.2006 13:57

Hello, after reinstalling the XP Home via the Recovery CD i cant get my integrated LAN adapter working. It says it has an Broadcom 440x 10/100 onboard, i install the driver, but after that a message is displayed in the driver properties - The device cannot start (Error code 10).

All other devices install and work fine.

The event log shows that the device has encountered an illegal IP adress . This happens with all drivers i download, and the one which is located on the driver CD which is provided with the laptop. Also happens after i upgrade to XP Pro from this installation.

Though i cannot install a clean XP Pro system because it fails to load the supplied SATA drivers (both on the driver CD and the Fujitsu support website provided), i've tried to load the SATA driver with an external USB Floppy drive and via integrating the driver into a XP installation CD, but no success either.

I am clueless what the problem is, maybe someone can help?

P.S. i understand German too if its more comfortable for you to answer in.
