Actually, I just swiched jobs and assembled furniture in my appartment. Besides that, I`m turning MXM Upgrade into an `official` company (papers out the door, w00t!). Other than that, I finished benching the x1800 and 6600 to add to the benchmark page.

Also: I have a girlfriend and I have been neglecting her a bit.

That said, I had a small batch of 7900GS`s confirmed, but that won`t even be enough to serve all those that have reserved a card here, much less serve the entire reservation list. I have a `secundary channel that might get me a more steady supply of 7900GS`s and 7600GS`s. No pricing confirmed for those. Yet another channel gave me a price well in excess of 300$ for a single card, no taxes or costs included. Minimum order of Quantity: 500. Needless to say I abandoned this route.

Regardless, it will take some more time. If and when I have price and quantity confirmed, those on `the list` will be contacted in order to fullfill their commitment.

Just want to take a look @ other bios ... and perhaps flash @ own risk.
I have a go7900gs & gtx Bios from Dell, but as I know, when i flash it, my mxm_go7900gs will not work with dell bios.

Hi, I know this page and I browsed there, but there are no go7900gs bioses.

You sure not know if i can flash a standard 7900gs bios on my go, or? It would doesnt work, same like dell go bios, or?

edit: or you know a good gpu bios editor? But not a noob editor like NiBiTor.

And i Like experiments. But wonna know if it work before flashing because like you wrote it's expensive.

The Clock you can reduce in bios before flashing.

Perhaps Interesting for you: I saw a dell go7900gs bios. They clock their go @ 690MHz @1.24V. It seems they got better chips from Nvidia as the rest.

Read about that, too. Funny thing is that it isn`t confirmed anywhere. Just the same message being duplicated amongst a few sites...

On a happy note: a new batch of 7900GS`s was confirmed. As such, the people on the `list` will start receiving a request for payment somewhere next week. Delivery will be.. well, before 2007 but that`s about the only thing I know for sure.

Pricing for US costumers is something I still havent figured out 100%; Less taxes, more expensive shipping, much more paperwork,...

If that's OK for you I'd prefer Germany.

I don't think that your argumentation is conclusive. Just look at the Watt numbers of the 7800 models in desktops and compare them with the "go" versions.

I think that this does also depend on Nvidias decision if they want to make the DX10 Notebok cards more performance efficient or they want them to consum less power.
