Man kann aber nicht erwarten, das Ice-Tea extra für diese Leute deutsch lernen soll ^^
Wer sich für die Sache interessiert, wird ein paar Vokabeln nachschlagen können. Oder den Mund aufmachen, obs jemand uebersetzt. Tut ja auch nicht weh.

I discussed this with Aspettl. I post stuff on the English forum, but this thread is from before that. It's basically the only place (or maybe there's one or two more from that era) where I post in English.

Do I get you right here, that you have already tested a GeForce 7900GS (with 512MB ?) in a M3438 ? And it is running ?
How does it come that a 7800 is not running in a M3438 ? Where is the difference ?

The 7900GS runs just fine. Just trying to get that ACPI script to run.

That 7800 was of Quanta origin. They made it incompatible. The 7900 is of Arima origin and works just fine.

Hi MaximL,

I meant Dremel It's a tool. A coil on the card is too high and requires a part of the heatsink to be shaved off.

I'm struggling with the thermal side off things, I'll have to get the NHC modification to work before I can say anything conclusive. From what I've seen it's pretty impressive.
