But one thing is interesting:


As I used the Ati Mobility x1800 my Mainboard was known as P71Ey0. Now with the original nVidia Geforce Go6800 its the P71EN0... Don't know, why but you will have to modify the Model in the CS and XML File (Search, Replace).

For using the Fancontrol you must open the link in NHC under ACPI -> "Show ACPI Control System Details".

Would the card also fit in one of the cheapest models of the FSC Amilo Xi1526 ? (Someone here is offering me a really fair amount of money for my m3438g and I want to have a Numpad and integrated bluetooth of the XI)

To the best of my knowledge: yes.

The X1526 is just a toned down version of the Xi 1546. Just a different card, same motherboard.

They accidently even left 'Type III' in the datasheet.

But you will still need a Dremel and you might need the NHC hack, even though that remains to be seen as it is obviously addapted to newer nVidia cards.

Hm, cool. So I think I'll be able to tell you in definite whether I want to buy one or not on the end of next week. (It depends on whether I can find some time till then to work to get the money alltogether

I´ve a Question: Is it Possible to get an 512MB Gf Go 7600 for normal MxM Type II/ III? A Friend of mine has this Card in his Notebook (Asus) and this Card is the hammer in tins i wanna have one

I didn't pay attention to this thread for some time now,so could someone pleas do me the favour of telling if the card works fine(just take out the old 6800 and pop in the new 7900,install drivers and it works?)
